Hello Everyone!
First and foremost, I'm so thankful that you find me! My name is Sammy Lovelace, and I'm located in New Glarus, WI with my boyfriend Brent, 2 cats, and my beautiful baby boy, Hudson. I started photography as a hobby in 2020, and later realized that I found so much joy in doing it that I wanted to turn it into a little side gig! I work in HR full-time from home, and I LOVE what I do, but this allows me to get out and meet new people!

I'm a golden hour fanatic, which means the majority of my sessions will be done an hour before sunset! I LIVE for the candid moments, so please do not panic when your little one isn't cooperating like you'd hope for. Those are the most precious photos, I promise! I provide all direction when it comes to posing, so you can just sit back and have fun. I strive to make the sessions fun, and to capture the love and laughter between you and your loved ones.
Sometimes the easiest way to look back on memories, is to have them documented! And a session is the perfect idea for a date night too! Be prepared for lots of movement, and getting a little work out in during our session. ;) We will be having so much fun, skipping, running, piggy back rides, etc. I am a sucker for movement, and I promise you those are the pictures that are SO worth it!
I have multiple ideas for location, so don't worry if you didn't have any in mind. I will send you a list of locations that will suit the vibe you are looking for. If you have a location in mind, I'm totally up for trying something new.
What to expect?
Woo hoo! You decided you wanted to book a session, now what?
You will first pick out what type of session you want, family, senior, engagement, etc... There are some additional options for certain sessions that we will discuss once you decide which one you're looking for!
You will fill out the contact form and I will follow up with you between 24-48 hours!
We will set up a date that will work for the both of us. (My weekends fill up extremely fast, so please reach out ASAP if you were looking to get a weekend time in!)
Next, I will send you over a questionnaire that will be directly related to whatever session you decided on. It will basically make sure we are both on the same page on what you are looking for in a session.
Once you send back the questionnaire, we will work together to develop a location suitable for you and your session. I have multiple options that I will send over to you, but am always up to try new things so please let me know if you have any in mind. I do also do in home sessions as well!
Following the Questionare, you will receive a styling guide. This guide is STRONGLY encouraged, and I would appreciate if you send me your clothing options, so we can work together to make sure it all blends well together. (Your outfits are truly what make your session POP.)
After we decide on outfits, we are ready to go! Now we just wait until the day of your session to make some magic happen. :)
Once your day arrives, we will pray that the rain stays away... If not, no worries, I always keep options open in my schedule just in case we do need to reschedule. Wisconsin can be super bipolar, so don't stress if it rains, we will get you in.
Once your session is over, you will receive a link to your email for your digital gallery. (The wait time for your gallery depends on what session you choose! Typically they are 2-3 weeks). You receive full printing rights for your images, so you are more than welcome to print anywhere your heart desires, or you can order directly through my site!
